WebIt made no sense that the budget brand Ventus cards had a graphene backplate that conducts heat like metal while the higher end Gaming X Trio had plain old plastic. Looks like Gaming Trio cards also had Graphene. My bad. My own Ventus' backplate gets very hot to the touch, so I imagine plastic backplates create a furnace.
